Profile

Before joining Studio Luppi, Fabio worked at two intellectual property consulting firms and has 30 years’ experience in the sector. In one of these firms, he was responsible for the patent department and was in charge of a team of patent consultants. He organized and presented seminars on the topic of intellectual property both in Italy and abroad. He has been appointed as an expert witness by the civil and criminal courts and has also served as an expert for the criminal investigation department of the police in collaboration with the Finance Police. He was a teacher in a course on Intellectual Property at the Milan Polytechnic and has also edited a chapter of a textbook. He was appointed as an Intellectual Property expert as part of a European programme for small and medium enterprises. For many years, he has been a patent expert for the Special Support Service of the Milan Chamber of Commerce. He has also taught for many years on a preparatory course for patent consultants at the national level. He deals with drafting and prosecuting patent applications for industrial inventions in Italy and abroad, searches and patentability opinions, and consulting with regard to patent validity and infringement.
